Ban Gu (Pan Ku) 32-92

A historian and writer of fu, the most famous of which is the "Fu on the Two Capitals". He took over from his father Ban Biao the task of writing a history of the Former Han dynasty, the Han shu, which was ultimately completed by his sister, Ban Zhao, after his death. The structure of the work became the model for most later dynastic histories.
